Yes of course. With laptops that have a mainboard fault or similar electronic fault, there is a $78.00 charge if the repair does not proceed. This covers our diagnosis time.
If you proceed with the repair, then it will be the price quoted to you.
Yes, we are able to issue vouchers for any amount. Vouchers normally have a 12-month expiry date.
Yes of course we do. There is a 3-month guarantee on the work performed for the original fault.
Other un-related issues that may arise within the 3-month period are not covered.
Parts that are replaced will have the manufactures warranty, which ranges from 3 month to 3 years depending on the item.
This depends on the issue of course, but on average, we have a 2-3 working day turn around. Some jobs will take longer if we require parts that we don't have in stock.
Yes, of course. We may even be able to remotly connect to your system to assist you.
Charges apply in both cases, but remote assistance where possible saves you a visit charge.
Yes, definitely. This may be part of the agreed purchase price, or we can give you an idea of the charge. Typically data transfers can take from 30 to 90 minutes. We cannot transfer your programs – they need to be reinstalled form the original CD’s or Internet download.

Yes, at present we are still able to provide Windows 7 operating system with your new desktop system.
Laptops that have Windows 8 Professional usually have downgrade rights to Windows 7 Professional. Some come from the factory downgraded to Win 7 Pro, but you still have the Win 8 Pro licence.
If you are bringing in your laptop for service, please also bring in the AC Power Adapter, as they are all different and we may not have one to suit yours.
Also bring any software that may need to be reloaded.
MEPS - Minimum Energy Performance Standard
This rating is for computer power supplys. Power supplies in new computers MUST now meet the new minimum energy standards. These now equate to a Silver of Gold rated power supply.
Our charge rate for service is $96.00 per hour ($83.48 exc). We charge in 15 minute incriments, not to the nearest hour.
On-site service is charged at this rate also, however there is often a visit charge to cover travel costs.
Server related worth is charged at a slightly higher rate of $115.00 per hour ($100.00 exc)
