Warranty PolicyHardware Warranty What's covered? Computer hardware is covered for the duration of its warranty period, for manufacturing faults, faulty parts and labour to replace those faulty parts. Janko operates a policy of repair or replacement. In the event a repair or replacement is not possible, a refund will be given. What's not covered?
Service Warranty Our service work is warranted for a duration of 3 months for the original fault. We strive to diagnose and remedy the fault first time around. However, some faults do not repeat themselves when the item is brought in for service, and this can make it difficult to diagnose the issue. If the same fault occurs within the warranty period, you must notify us immediately of the issue. Failure to notify us within a reasonable time will void our warranty. Data While we will take the utmost care in preserving your data on the system, we take no responsibility for lost data caused by either faulty parts or software issues. It is your responsibility to make sure you have current backups of your data. You must advise us if you do not have a current data backup, and we will take all due care to get a backup for you where possible before performing any service work. |
