Latest NewsSoftware Hoax People are getting direct telephone calls from overseas, advising that their computer is causing problems... Yes, we have all had the emails coming in trying to get us to purchase spyware products, that fix non-existant problems on your PC. Well now there's a twist to that. One of our customers actually had a phone call, saying that their system was causing issues while on the Internet. The user was then directed to check a part of Windows called the Event Viewer. The event viewer often has errors of some description, so the user thinks the caller is correct. They are then invited to purchase software to fix this "issue".
