Extented notebook warranty - Who is United Electrical?

United Electrical began operations in 1992 as a computer servicing and maintenance company, and as a reseller of new and used computer equipment.  Very quickly the company expanded its operation to include the provision of on-site warranties for the domestic and business markets in the Computer industry.  Since that time the company has expanded to such an extent that it is now recognised as a market leader in the field of extended warranty products and maintenance services.
In January 1996, the company purchased the former Bass Coast Shire Office in South Gippsland, in regional Victoria, as its head office location.  This proved to be a wise investment where the company was able to relocate and expand all operations to accommodate the increasing staff members.

In October 1999, the company expanded its coverage in Western Australia by undertaking limited liabilities of the Foundation 2000 Warranty company.
In January 2000, United Electrical commenced full-time operations in New Zealand.
In 2003, United Electrical Maintenance Pty Ltd (UEM) was formed in order to separate from the warranty and extended warranty services with a key focus on its growth in the areas of hardware installations, roll-outs, project management and
maintenance services.
In July 2004, United Electrical streamlined its extended warranty products to include coverage on Audio Visual and Whitegoods products in addition to its already successful IT coverage.
This year also saw United Electrical evolve the delivery of
its products from being a paper-based warranty certificate into
a CD-based, easy on-line registration, full colour design in a DVD-sized shelf able package.

In January 2006, United Electrical purchased its new corporate head office and factory In Carrum Downs, Victoria.  On top of the warranty and maintenance services, United Electrical now also provides warehousing and logistics operations for many customers (as well as the warranty services) to be able to truly provide customers a complete end-to-end service partner.  This year not only marked the change of location, it also saw the change of its logo.  The watermarked stamp was duly upgraded to the blue 'united'symbol seen today.

The company now has the infrastructure in place to cater for virtually any type of customer service needs; small, large, and multi-national agreements in every state of Australia and New Zealand.  United is still Australia's largest independent on-site services provider and will remain to be proudly 100% Australian owned and operated supporting Australian retailers, resellers and service companies nationally.
United also has a very strong ON-SITE sales force that ensures a friendly face upon visitations to its current and new clients.  They will ensure that once they walk away, you will have a complete and comprehensive understanding on the United product; and you will feel confident in providing the product to your customers.
