Welcome to July - sorry for the delayed newsletter this month.

 Top Shop Awards.

During the months of  May & June, customers voted for their top shops & service providers. This year saw 330 different businesses nominated from over 550 customers. Each business was contacted at least 4 times by mystery shoppers to see what the customer experienced. While we didn't win our section this year (service providers), we did make the finals, which was a great achievement from the whole team. A big thank you to our team and our loyal customers.

Recycling

Your old computers, monitors, printers etc can be taken out to Merrideth Scrap Metals (in Bell Block) where they will be recycled. It is a good idea to remove you hard drive or wipe the data from it before parting with the old system as a security measure. We accept old cartridges from both lasers & inkjets for recycling. These are sent back to one of our suppliers and recycled in the appropriate manner.

Service Team

The volume of service work comes & goes, but at present we are extremely busy. The average turn-around on service work is around 2-3 working days, as we also have quite a bit of on-site work to complete.

Faulty Laptop Evaluation

We have a dedicated laptop service supplier that will quote on any laptop for service repairs. This can range from screen replacements to mainboard & power supply repair. We are able to obtain a quote prior to repair first to see if it economical to repair the laptop. This service incurs a charge of $75.00 (which includes freight both directions). If the repair doesn't proceed, then $75.00 is your only cost.
